Laura Beardsley

Laura is our Dog First Aid Franchisee for Gloucestershire and the Severn Valley.

Laura has worked for many years with dogs and horses and has grown up with a household of animals, from cockatiels to horses. She has a passion for dogs and has chosen to pursue her career path with dogs being a main part. Laura believes that the joy of owning or caring for animals should be matched with the wellbeing of those in our care.

Laura now has a 1 year old Hungarian Vizsla who most definitely rules the roost. It was through her puppy that Laura first found out about Dog First Aid. On a quite normal walk her puppy scratched his ear and had caught and cut one of the veins, after trying to stem the bleeding unsuccessfully she felt helpless in the middle of nowhere with nothing other than a lead, poo bags and dog treats! After researching how she could have helped the situation she came across Dog First Aid. With a background in training she realised this was a great path to share the knowledge of how to handle emergency situations with other dog lovers and professionals.

Laura looks forward to welcoming you onto one of her courses where she can share with you the vital skills you need to help your dog or those in your care if faced with an emergency.
