Fliss is the General Manager of the Wiltshire territory. This includes Wiltshire and the Isle of Wight.
Fliss has grown up living in the countryside with dogs and horses all her life. She says “I owned my first Labrador when I was 20 and he was my companion living and working on a yard. We now own two working Labradors (mother and daughter) aged 9 and 4 and one Cocker Spaniel, aged 15 that we rehomed when he was 4 years old. Oh, and we own a little Shetland which my daughter rides!”
The Cocker successfully de-gloved himself in an incident with barbed wire and only now she believes that having carried out the training, she would have been equipped with these skills necessary to deal with the situation in a more controlled and less stressful environment. Living on a farm we are constantly checking for foreign bodies such as ticks and grass seeds, and cuts etc.
She is a fully qualified teacher but her passion for animals runs strong in her veins hence why she is focusing on helping others to learn valuable skills and knowledge. She firmly believes that anyone owning or working with dogs should as a minimum have current dog first aid knowledge.
